Default Trebly headphones?

Anyone have a recommendation for an especially bright-sounding set of
headphones?

I'm looking for a new set of DJing headphones (so they need to be
capable of decent volume) that aren't so cranked on the bass like the DJ
phones I've tried. I prefer to use the hi-hats to beatmatch, and wonder
if there's some pair where I can get some decent volume off the hi-hat
without the bass being so overpoweringly loud at the same time.

Have you tried the Sony 7506? They're too bright for me, might be perfect for
you.

Sony MDR-V6.

Scott, Jay,

Thanks for the recommendation.

I suspected it might come down to the V6s/7506s (they ARE essentially
the same, right?)... Not as powerful as I dream of for DJing (fine when
over the ears, but would be better if I could slip them half off the
ears and put out enough volume for an audible, tinny ch-ch-ch-ch to
refer to while mostly listening to the mix output off the monitors), but
they're the brightest phones I've had personal experience with.

Beyer makes some really bright ones too... I forget which models they
are, but they definitely make some brighter than the DT-100.
