I just needed a quick question answered, as I am in the middle of
soldering my aftermarket stereo to the 1993 ford ranger i just
purchased. The speakers are wired fine, and the factory harness is
labelled, i just can't decipher which wire is supposed to connect to
the ACC wire from my pioneer deck. The truck has the ford 2 plug
harness and the wires available are labeled as "radio ground", "radio
display", "panel illumination", "radio power feed", "vehicle chassis
ground", and "memory feed". I connected the radio power feed to the
yellow wire of my stereo and the vehicle chassis ground to the black
wire. All i need to know is whether this is right and which one of
these i should connect the ACC wire to. Any help is much appreciated.

ACC = radio power feed

memory feed = yellow wire of your stereo

Not sure who made your harness but it should be red to red and yellow to
yellow.

The Ford ACC wire should be yellow. It may have a brown or black stripe on
it
