Marantz 2238 Receiver
Marantz 2238 Receiver minty, $149
Image: http://members.aol.com/KDresch/2238.html Enjoy classic Marantz quality from the past. This silver faced analog AM/FM receiver is rated conservatively at 38 watts per channel. Features "Gyro-touch" tuning, bass, midrange and treble tone controls (can control L and R individually), connections and switching for two sets of speakers, loudness contour and high filter. Has preamp-out and poweramp-in jacks. All dial lamps working! All switches and pots are quiet and smooth. This receiver has been cleaned inside and out. Near mint cosmetics and fully functional, this mid 1970s receiver shows the heavy quality that set Marantz apart. Great for that second system in the extra bedroom, workshop or den. The 2238 listed for approx $360 in the mid-late 1970's. I can offer for $149 plus shipping (gross weight 45 lbs). Satisfaction guaranteed.
