Default best BASS cd/Artist ???

Hi,
I am currently in search of a good bass cd. Most of the older ones (Magic
Mike, Bass Mekanik, etc..) I don't like, coz the bass notes tend to go real
hi and all of the suden low, then when it stays steady for a little, they'll
send them up to like 100Hz + again...basically I want a nice steady beat of
nothing but low Hz Bass, something like a hip hop beat. Any suggestions
would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Well, some of my hip-hop/rap bass favorites a

"Get Low" - Ying Yang Twins and the East Side Boys

"Whoop, there it is" - Tag Team

"You Can't Slip" - Sir Mix Alot

"Die Mother ****ers" - Office Space Soundtrack

These songs sound GREAT on a BIG BASS SYSTEM!!!

Other "Bass Artists" that you may want to check out (you may already have)
include Bass 305, Techmaster P.E.B., and Techno Bass Crew. Of course, most
of this music is very similar to Bass Mekanik, but there are MANY great and
varied songs among these artists. You are bound to find some things to your
liking.

For me, Bass Mekanik is the king. IMHO, his work surpasses them all.

What is a big bass system? Hell while you're at it, what is a small bass
system?

Howdy, I don't know what you're getting at.

A big bass system: multiple large diameter (10", 12", 15") subwoofers driven
by a powerful amp or multiple amps. Does this REALLY need explaining?

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!

I'd never seen that episode of PMR before. That was TOO COOL!!!! Thanks
for the link!!

Unfortunately, I didn't recognize any of the songs they used to test that
woofer.

I would say that the song, "Get Low" I mentioned before is the song I use
more than any other if I want to show off my system's power. It makes a
GREAT demo track. If you've never heard it in your car, GET IT NOW!!!

Also, the "Hurricane Mix" of Sir Mix Alot's "Baby Got Back" is LOADED with
low bass. But you must get the "Hurricane Mix", not the regular version. I
know that song is a little cheesy, but THAT version is DEFINITELY worth a
listen on a big system.

If you're into a little more rock oriented bass, try Tool's "Prison Sex" and
White Zombie's "More Human than Human (Warlord of Mars Mega Mix)".

Also, like I said, there is TONS of bass music out there (some more on the
techno side, some more hip-hop, some more old-school rap, some more
new-school rap, break-beats, etc.) and with a little searching you can find
exactly the kind of bass music that suits you best.

Dokken - Fly High. Hip Hop bass is not real bass music cuz it's
eletrical
digitalized noise which you are going after which is why you need a
good low bass
speak to response to low digititaliz music. I like Dokken- Fly High cuz
it's the real
bass music playing with bass guitar and drum. Most Hip Hop bass is not
real.
It's digital noise, not music!

Big bass music can't be implement by the musical device and it
produces through
the digitial midi-type of sound which is what Hip Hop digital music is
all about.
It's ass sound which is why they call hip hop.

It's gotta be a northern west coast term, never heard anyone around here
(Toronto) use it.

The 2 hardest hitting songs out right now are "Shake that Laffy Taffy"
and "Im Bossy"
With Shake that Laffy Taffy I shake the roof when I pull up at work and
I only have 1 speaker. Also "What you know about that" by T.I. hits
pretty hard also but only if your playingthe actual cd not the radio.
