I don't live in Grosse Pointe Park. That's a number of miles away, and
closer to downtown Detroit.

Furthermore, Downtown Detroit is actually right along the Eastern edge of
Detroit, along the river. The other side of the river is Windsor, Ontario,
Canada. So, no way is downtown Detroit in the center of the city.
