Default Two Amps - One Pair of Speakers

Hi, everyone. I am thinking of adding a transistor amp to my system for the
summer months. I already have a tube amp hooked up to the speakers.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to switch between them without disconnecting
the speakers each time.

One scenario is to hook the amps up in parallel to the speakers. But this
rings some alarms - don't know if this is really dumb - hope someone can set
me straight.

Another possibility is some kind of low-noise switch. Does someone have
any recommendations for a decent switch in the $50-100 range?

The final possibility is just to switch the wires out each time. thanks

Terry
