help, M7 x 0.75 nut
Not exactly tube related, but it is audio I bought a mini Clarostat
585 series pot to use in a headphone amplifier. The cheapos didn't bother to include a nut and a dig in my junkbox didn't turn anything up. So if anyone in the US could spare an M7 x 0.75 nut I would greatly appreciate it. Adam |

Adam Metric should no longer be a problem to find in North America. The automotive & electronic test equipment business have used metric fasteners for some years now. There are lots of metric nuts, bolts, screws, etc on the shelves of hardware stores here, even the big guys like Home Depot who stock nothing unless it moves. JLS |

Its one of those very thin nuts used to hold pots and toggle switches on panels. So far only Mouser carries them and you have to buy a box of 100. McMaster Carr has thin nuts but no metric sizes. Rat shack has an assortment pack but again no metric. Adam |

Adam Hi Adam, I have a pile of them, and, I think, ****shack plain RCA connectors use those nuts, I'm not sure 'bout the pitch. if you still haven't found one, I'm in NYC, and you're wellcome to dig through my pots & switches hardware box (or I can mail you a bunch). -dim |
