Default CD changer integration with Honda CR-V LX audio system

I am on the verge of purchasing a 2010 Honda CR-V, but the 6-CD changer
is only offered with the next higher trim level, which costs $2300 more.
No way. In my old car, a Volvo V40, I had a lovely Alpine changer which
could be wired to be controlled by the stock Volvo radio/cassette
player. Is there any way to wire an Alpine changer into the stock Honda
radio/CD player, or do I have to rip that radio out and replace it with
a third-party radio/CD changer? I have looked in vain for the kind of
wiring harness/adapter that would allow me to accomplish the former.
