Default amp inconsistancy

I bought a mrd-m1000 Alpine Amp about a year ago which runs (3) Type R
12" subs. I am somewhat happy with the performance. Unfortunately I
think I'm at about 2.66 ohms because of the set up and this particular
amp is a bit fussy. Does anybody have any good pointers for properly
tuning this thing? Also, I have noticed something a little odd to me.
After driving with the stereo on for some time, for instance, a long
road trip...the subs get noticably louder. It is fairly
obvious...anybody know why? Please help.

I don't think that you can do that with the alpine amps. I know that there
are some amps around that are 'strappable' but I do not think the Alpine is.
I would contact alpine to confirm that.

Properly tuning anything is all a matter of what sounds good to you bro.

Ok...I would just like to add another question to my issue. If I buy
another mrd-m1000 amp, can I run them in tandem to supply the subs with
the power they need? How do I wire it? Do I simply run positive and
negative of both amps to the box terminals?
