I have the VA Haydn and run them with a Forte' 4 amp. I use a Citation XXP
preamp and all Straightwire cables. I love the VA speakers. I went from a
pair of Acoustat Spectra 33 to the VA Haydn. I do miss the electrostats.
However I enjoy the forgiveness I have regarding speaker placement with the
dynamic speaker.

Can't help much on the Totem. It has been too long since I heard them.
From what I remember, the Totem's port seemed to muddy things up a bit.
