I know Will Smith repped Alpine in a couple of his songs back when he
was the Fresh Prince. I think Ludacris has said Pioneer in one of his
songs.

Sir Mix Alot mentions his Alpine in "Posse on Broadway": "The Alpine's
bumping but I need the volume higher because the 808 kick drum....."

Vanilla Ice mentions the "Vega's are pumping" in "Ice Ice Baby".

Easy E : "Then I let the Alpine play, bumpin new **** by NWA",

I can't believe I forgot that one! "It was gangsta, gangsta at the top of
the list then I put my own **** in; it went something like this....."

Yes, Alpine is certainly a rap fav.

You sound like my wife. She hates techno, too.

We always have big arguments over what to play if we ride anywhere together.

SHE likes Motley Crue, Guns and Roses.....

BLEH!!!!!!!

If you're driving what's the argument? Your car, you're driving, your
music, your rules. Just understand works the same way in HER car...

LOL HA!!

You don't know my wife!! But I love her!

The way she sees it, if it goes in her ears, she's going to have some say.
So we usually have to find "middle-ground" music.

Techono, trance, rock classics are all fine with me.
I just have a problem with a mental image of
every rap performer grabbing his crotch. Not something I enjoy seeing a
black man do. Plus I cant understand a word they say.
Heavy metal is a waste of electrons also.
