I am recording some old cassettes onto CDs using Roxio.
These old cassettes have some hiss and background noise.
I am not very famaliar with this actually, can someone recommend any good
books that will go through the different procedures of reducing noise and hiss
etc.

I am using Roxio at this time and have been told that Goldwave is very good.
