Default Pioneer CT-F500 Cassette Deck

Pioneer CT-F500 Cassette Deck, $39

Image: http://members.aol.com/KDresch/ct-f500.html

Nice front load silver face design from Pioneer in the late 1970's. This model
followed the tremendously popular CT-F2121 and CT-F4242 models but added nicer
controls and simplified operation. The cassette is held vertically behind a
hinged door.

Very nice cosmetics and fully functional. I tested this deck and found it has a
nice extended highend frequency response. It has Dolby noise reduction and
works with several tape formulations. Pioneer made some nice "clean design"
cassette decks during this period and this is one of them. Listed for about
$200 only $39 plus shipping. (gross wt 20lbs)
