Default HELP!!! DVC subs..

i had purchased 2 DVC 4 ohm subs. For each coil, is it rated at 4 ohm or its overall rating is 4 ohm and i was wondering if i can wire it to a One ohm load?

If the sub is a dual 4ohm then both coils are 4ohm. You can get a 1ohm load
by wiring them both in parallel, this will give you a 2ohm load per sub.

That would be handy if it was actually big enough to see anything.

haha, indeed. but parallel wiring is easy, just wire all the positives
from both subs to the positive output on the amp, and all the negatives
to the negative output on the amp. that'll get you your final 1 ohm
load

Damn good question. Very few 2 channel amps made today are 1 ohm bridged
stable (and even most mono amps are not 1 ohm stable). If your amp is not 1
ohm stable, you will likely fry your amp.

Nothing to do with the browser - Firefox shows me the picture fully
scaled. It's too damn small on a 2048x1536 display.

You can also make the monitor to step down the resolution to 1024 (or other
value) with some shortcut key. This has better results than scaling down.
