If you even attempt to harm the cat, I will call animal cruelty on
you. They can track your personal information down because of your Yahoo
account and IP address.

I swear, if you try anything, you are going to jail.

For one.... Don't kill the cat. The cat was acting on natural
instincts. Also it is HIGHLY against the law to do that. You need to be
more careful with your animals, such as putting the cage in a safe place.
Getting a more secure cage and so on.

Purposely murdering an animal for killing something that looks like
food? That's totally fair.

Say, there might be some folks higher up on the food chain than you
are. Maybe you should go over there after you kill the cat and complete
the circle.

No don't. The cat was acting upon natural instinct so you can't
blame it. Only if it harms a human then you can put it to sleep.

it's not the cats fault because the cat has a natural instinct to
kill rodents. it's your fault for leaving your door open and the cage easy
to access.

if you think it'll happen again because of your carelessness, don't
get another hamster.

i hope you are just very young and don't realize that animals,
unlike humans, don't rationalize their actions--they're not doing
something out of spite or bad nature. whether you want to accept it or
not, it is your responsibility. and accepting one's responsibility is
something that's good to learn at young age, because life won't succumb to
your demands.

I am sorry to hear that the cat ate your hamster, I would be very
upset as well, but killing the cat isn´t going to make you feel better
(and of course it´s against the law and your mum would be very upset)

I am not sure about getting another hamster, cats are very fast and
it might happen again...what about getting a rabbit instead? rabbits can
defend themselves (but be careful when the rabbit is just a baby) or you
may just want to wait untill you´ll live on your own to have another
pet...

Listen, I am really sorry about your hamster but for **** sake, your
cat's natural instinct is to hunt and eat rodents, it was following it's
instincts, and you are going to turn around and murder an innocent cat for
following its instincts???!!?? (you want to do exactly what your cat did,
except you have malicious intent, which makes what you want to do 10 000
times worse)

I agree with Horatio, if you try anything I will call animal cruelty
on you and you will go to jail. The cat is an innocent animal that was
doing what comes naturally, please never ever own another animal in your
lifetime because you obviously are no animal lover. And by the way it was
your responsibility to take care of the hamster and you should have known
what could happen if you left your door open. You have no one to blame but
yourself.

Blessing to your cat.

Mother hamsters often eat their own babies for no apparent reason,
too. Animals do weird stuff based on their instincts. Cats chase and kill
rodents, even if they have cat food around, and that's one of the reasons
that humans first started keeping cats as pets... to kill rats and other
small animals that carry disease. So if you have a cat in the same house
with a rodent, it's REALLY important to keep the rodent in a place where
the cat can't get to it. But please don't try to kill your mother's cat...
it's useless to try to get revenge on an animal that can't even understand
its actions in the first place. If you do something to the cat, I imagine
you'll feel really bad about it later.

Wrong.
Prevention is the answer. He should have bought the hamster a gun
for self protection.
It never woud have happened.
