Tascam 2600 what is it worth
a local music store has a dead mint 16 channel 200 with case for 600.00
seems very reasonable when did the lst new 2600's hit the streets what problems should I look for when evaluation its worth? BTW I would be using it for live sound thanks George |

They replaced the 2500 series, and then were pretty quickly replaced my the 2600Mk2. I think one of the Mk2's improvements was the mic pre. They were, of course, mostly thought of as a studio mixer. It was OK. thanks don decided not to get it with the amazing behringer ddx at around a grand no point in a (at least ) 10 year old desk that is so big George --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
