Hi;

I'm looking to replace a dying cassette deck and have found the
following offered for sale:
Blaupunkt Tuscon CM84 cassette deck
Blaupunkt CDC-M5 -10 disc CD Changer

I'm guessing these units are up to ten years old.

What is the opinion on the quality of them? Are they reasonable or
risky buys? I've never owned any Blaupunkt decks. They were
expensive items back in the day; I vaguely recall that there may have
been reliability issues with Blaupunkt.

I did some googling and the offering prices of these are all over the
map. The CD changer is not worth that much to me but I'd pick it up
as part of the package. Couple of hundred bucks?

[I'd prefer to buy a nice new cassette deck with Dolby B+C but that is
not an option these days; even Dolby B is rare. (Yes, I have plenty
of cassettes, including some mixes taped in Dolby C.)
