Got one in the shop. Does it require a dummy plug or remote plugged in to
function?

you could try the folks at Funky Junk (UK) www.proaudioeurope.com

Also there's a guy Chris Notton in the UK who's an Otari guru. I've seen
him in this NG occasionally.
