What Does Scott Mean?
When I was back in LA, a couple of radio talk show hosts would play a
game called "What Did Jesse Jackson Say?" The hosts would play a clip from one of Jesse's speeches featuring a mumbled phrase from Jackson, and call-in guests would try to figure out the quote verbatim. Watching Scott struggle to communicate over on the Chargers group, I though we could play a similar game..."What Does Scott Mean?" Here's this week's quote from Scott: "If I was GM he'd be my safety valve, injury insurance spending most of the games inactive ala Michael Bennett." So...what did Scott mean? |

So...what did Scott mean? *We were discussing where LT might go and what role can he fill. You are exempt from this game, since you obviously know what you think you meant, Thanks for showing you know as much about football as you do audio. Thanks for the compliment! So why are you spamming an audio group with football trolls? Because you're a funny dude, and we all need a good laugh. Shouldn't you be soldering copper mesh over your windows to protect your poorly designed system from your neighbors nasty wi- fi? Why would I do that? By the way, perhaps you could email Jim Smith, the best audio setup man in the biz, and tell him your thoughts on wireless routers. Be sure to tell him that your system sounds like crap first. Since Scott spoiled the first round, here's another:
"I suspect his leadership authority was tainted by his tipp-toe out of bounds with a just a look from a DB running style." What does Scott mean? |

For a change of pace, let's check out Scott on the Padres group:

Here's this week's gem:
When guys come up to just a few yards off a receiver and don't bother to try and jam and basically just say I can run with you step for step no matter what you do, you're slow. So...what does Scott mean? |

I would think that somebody who can run with a receiver "step for step no matter what you do" isn't "slow". I would think the slow corners would tend to jam in an attempt to remove the receiver's speed advantage. I'm a football fan. Can you enlighten me on 2pid's deeper meaning? |

Well, he thought The Shins were bubblegum pop, which shows how little he knows about music. Compared to the funeral dirges he calls "progressive rock," I suppose they are. Here's an interesting take on the unreliability of verbal communication from the likes Witlessmongrel: * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Dog Body Language Any dog owner will tell you that their four-legged family members speak volumes with their bodies. Here are some typical signals dogs use: Face: Dogs will wrinkle or straighten their foreheads to show confusion or determination. Eyes: A dog’s eyes brighten when he looks at a creature he considers friendly. When he is afraid, his pupils dilate and he shows the whites of his eyes. Lips, teeth and tongue: If your dog is happy or wants to play, he may pull his lips back and show his teeth in what appears to be a smile. This is a gesture that is reserved only for human/dog communication; a dog will not do this with other dogs. Ears: If a dog’s ears are raised, he is relaxed or listening. If they are back, he might be signaling submission. Tail: A recent study published in “Current Biology” shows that the way a dog wags its tail indicates how he feels. If the tail wags more to the right, it is a sign of positive feelings; left-side wagging indicates negative feelings http://www.petinsurance.com/healthzo...-behavior/The- Secret-Language-of-Dogs.aspx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Once again, I feel obliged to remind the group that trying to have a human-style exchange with Witlessmongrel is pointless. If it's not the uncontrolled yapping, it's the burying of key words that would render the pooch's 'thoughts' comprehensible to humans. |

If the game is changed to something else 2pid simply wants the ability to challenge this but to not have the booth review his challenge because the booth is too "prolific" ;-) in the things they review in 2pid's imbecilic opinion. If the game is changed to something else 2pid simply wants the ability to challenge this but to not have the booth review his challenge because the booth is too "prolific" ;-) in the things they review in 2pid's imbecilic opinion. If you're going to pick 2pid gems make them harder than this. This one actually almost made 2pid sound smart. Isn't baseball the only game in which the defense has the ball? STFU. This is 2pid's scenario and he doesn't very well suffer his "differing POV" being "oppressed". You liberal POS. Next you'll claim that there's a health care crisis in the US. Next! LoL. |

Here's today's gem: "I don't know why we would make it easy for a team in OT to burn all the clock and not let the D get the ball back and I don't want some bonehead official to change the game with no challenge (and the the booth is way to prolific in reviews IMO)." Witless needs to cut back on the caffeine before his 'motor' burns itself out. |
