Default Experience with Apple's cheap dual driver in-ear headphones?

http://www.apple.com/ipod/inearheadphones/

Is the dual driver just a gimmick at that $80 price range, or are
they starting a trend for low-priced models?

I am new to in-ear headphones.

Experiences with other $50 to $100 in-ear headphones would be
appreciated.

Thanks.
