Default Best Price for Sound Forge 7.0 Bundle

Hello,

I'm considering purchasing the Sound Forge 7.0 bundle. I've seen
prices of around $249.00 for the new, not upgrade version, and also
the nonstudent version. I'd like opinions as to whether or not this
is a good price.

I haven't heard about any "bundle."
Sony is selling SF 7.0 direct for $400 (supposedly marked down from $500).
By that standard, $249 is a very good price.

The Sound Forge Bundle is Sound Forge 7.0, CD Architect, and Noise
Reduction. I think that is the only way dealers are selling it right
now. $249 is a fair price, you could do better. Buying software directly
from a creator's web site is usually much more expensive than buying it
from a dealer.

That's a terrific price. The best discount given to educational and
qualifying non-profit organizations that I have seen, is around $200.
TTBOMK, there is no difference at all between the contents and
packaging for retail vs educational other than the price.

CD Architect is now 'bundled' with SF-7.... a great burning & tweaking tool.
