Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a cheap/easy way to use my IR remote from a distance further
than 4ft from my head unit, and not in line of sight. I thought that I'd be
able to find a simple IR repeater that would have an optic cable that I
could attach to the head unit, and position the other end where I want it,
but I'm not able to find one.

I'd like to avoid using any power, unless it's the 9v or AAA type that I
could swap out. It doesn't have to be pretty. Any ideas on where I could
find something that would work?
