I realize that I have an archaic Tuner Preamp - but hey it works great
and sounds great. But I need advice on where to get a remote, or to
get codes so that I can program my Universal Remote.

Mildly amusing sidenote - I once totally hosed the 500II with my IBM
ThinkPad infrared port. For no apparent reason, I couldn't turn the
preamp on at all! I didn't figure out what had happened until I'd
spent $30 on a bench fee. It only required unplugging and replugging
to 'reboot' the preamp. But sitting in the same room with my laptop
and preamp was not a good thing.
