I have an old (1995) Clarion cd player and I lost the connector for
it, I was able to use a connector from an computer powersupply. I just
had to cut off 4 prongs.
Now my problem is that I dont know what wires go where. I took it
apart and found the 8 wires for the speakers, the ground, the light,
and the 2 power wires. leaving 4 wires left. Anyone know what these
wires are?

What is the model number of the deck? I might be able to give a pin out for
the harness.

OK, I was able to find the installation guide to my old Clarion deck. It's
not an actual pinout like I had hoped, but it does describe all 16
connections.

At least you now know that those last four spots aren't anything important.
The only one that you may need is the remote turn-on if you're using an amp
or power antenna. Also, I checked Pacific Coast Parts (
http://www.pacparts.com ) and found that they still have stuff for your
unit, including the wire harness. The owners manual may give a proper
pinout and the service manual should definitely tell you where all sixteen
