Default Nakamichi Cd45z user manual (also RDS)

anyone have one that they can scan into their computer and e-mail me?

also does anyone know if the CD45z has RDS? The Nakamichi website
seems to think so, but I can't find the feature on my unit at all, and
these things aren't exactly difficult to poke around with.

thanks

Because no one (OK, not no one, but very few stations) uses RDS in the US.
Why put in a feature that won't work in most cities?

I'd have to agree that RDS is pretty useless, however it's still a
neat feature. On a high end unit such as this where the company
obviously has the capacity to include the feature into it, I figure
why not? Pretty much every new car comes with it, so why doesn't a
fairly high end HU?

meh, either way, I'm still hunting for that manual if anyone has one

Two way road. Stations don't use it because manufacturers don't
implement it. Manufacturers don't implement it because stations don't
use it.... I just don't get why they take stuff out of already working
software. You'd think it'd be easier to have 1 version laying around
than one for each country. Kinda like how they took out the Clock
feature on some Alpine head units for Australia. I'm still trying to
figure that one out.
