Default Clifford alarm weirdness

bin it

Went to reprogram my IntelliGuard 200 to accept the remote (it stopped
responding to my remote, recently).

During the programming sequence the brain started "machinegunning". The
internal relays that control the flashing of the parking lights and the

dome
light started cycling at about 10-15 times per second. Position of
programming/valet or ignition switches were ineffective. Pulling the

harness
plug stopped it.

Anyone experienced anything like this before?

Thanks,
