Default Are you still using 2way or 3 way speakers? Why? You won't get believable musical reproduction without using a single, fullrange, pointsource speaker with no crossover....

Are you still using two way or three way speakers with crossovers?
Why? Do you really think that sound from your tweeter and sound from
your woofer sound the same? Try listening to music from just your
tweeter and then just from your woofer. It will sound like two
different recordings.

A speaker using a single fullrange driver--with no crossover--will give
you sound you've only dreamed of. And also the most efficient speakers
on the planet.

Audio Nirvana offers five different fullrange models from 6.5 to 10
inches. Buy complete systems--in real hardwoods--or get just the
drivers and free plans and build your own cabinets. Prices start at
only $98/pr. You won't believe what you've been missing all these
years......

I've never dreamed of anything so bad !

Rubbish. Higher efficiency leads to lower bandwidth. That's basic physics.

Yes in the case of full range ribbons. You know the Apogee range?

Same for Maggies.

If you have the same technology the diffences are simply those of
frequency, not of sound character. Obviously low notes sound different
from high notes anyway.
