I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo and just bought a new Clarion DXZ835MP CD/MP3
Player.

I hooked it up with a wire harness and all works great. Though I have a
question on how to get the dimmer function working when vehicle lights are
dimmed. The Clarion has a Orange wire for Illumination and a Orange/White
for Dimmer. The vehicle has a Orange for Illumination. When I hook up the
Orange/White Dimmer wire to vehicle Orange Illumination, the lights on
Clarion go off when parking lights are on, and on when parking lights are
off! If I just hook up the Orange to Orange Illumination works but no
dimming. How can I get it to work properly?
