I have a 97 Acura CL with a stock Bose system. I have a buzz coming
from my left rear speaker. It seems to often be affected by bumps in
the road and it even happens when I have the stereo turned off. Anyone
have any thoughts as to what I should do or check out?

It's probably a loose screw.

Most oem Bose systems have a seperate amplifier per speaker. At worst
its only a small amplifier that goes bad, at best they're probably
expensive.

Take the driver out, clean any connections, reinstall and go from there.
