Default Portable DVD player advice wanted

I need a portable DVD player. It must play CD, CDR, CDRW, DVD, DVD-R,
DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW. In addition, it must play the following protocols:
CDDA, DVD-Video, and both CDRs and DVDRs encoded with mp3 or wma audio
files. Display: 99% of the time the unit will be playing mp3 or wma files,
and the display need not be large or colorful; its use will be to navigate
through the hundreds of sound files on the DVDR.

It would be nice if it could play DVDRs with 48k/16bit audio, but this is
not necessary.

I've found several home units that must be plugged into the wall and a TV
set used as the display, but I haven't found a portable one yet. Any
suggestions?

Thanks muchly,

Norm Strong

Not sure if this will help or not but I bought a portable DVD player
initially for my young son when we travel and I love it so much I take it
with me everywhere. Two years old and works perfectly. Beautiful 7" screen.
Paid $150. I believe it plays all the media types that you require but I'm
not 100% on that. It's Best Buys brand "Insignia" believe it or not and this
particular Insignia unitit has an excellent reputation. Model # I-PD720. Has
all the ins and outs you're likely to need.
