Default Some Halloween spooky artifacts

Just for fun:
I found a way to create some spooky sounds for my
Halloween sound track. What I did was convert the
source to mp3 then extract the artifacts by subtracting
the lossy track from the reference track.
The effect changes for compression rates and engines.
It takes a bit of experimentation.

Here's a clip from Poe's poem The Bells:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/odr9kvc6bkfpnnp/Poe-Bells%20AA3%20C%208%21.wav?dl=0

And an mp3 clip with spooky misic added:

I tend to change that link-text to dl=1 if I send a dropbox link in a mail.

Kind regards

What does that mean, and what does changing it do? Is that a download
counter? Or does "dl" mean something different?

I didn't know that and had to look that up.
Seems dl=0 opens in the browser where
as I believe dl=1 opens the save to drive dialog
rather than view in browser.

Did I get that right Peter?

Ron C:

dl=0 requires app to open on a mobile.

dl=1 goes right to push arrow to play.

dl means download. 0 is a logical state, ie. not to start download.
Changing it to 1 makes the download start without user interaction.

Kind regards
