I just looked at the new PPI stuff and you were right, it IS industrial looking, but in bad way. It might take a little bit to get used to though. I can't wait for the others to get done.

The speaker/RCA connections plus all the controls are on the round end,
power & Q BASS jack are on the flat end. Same connectors, but we improved the material to prevent splitting... would have liked to have moved to a new terminal solution (we looked at bringing over some ideas from an older PPI concept design) but couldn't make it happen in time. I guess the good part is they ar elaid out the same and will drop into existing PPI installs with no work at all. JD Paul Vina wrote: Oops, that was supposed to be NOT in a bad way. I was kinda hoping you guys would do all the connectors on one long side like JL or SoundStream do. I've always like that concept since you don't add any length to an already long amp. Maybe something to look into for next year. ;-)

Tell me about it. I may even do the PCXs like we had discussed. Mainly because the PCX2200 will put out the power I need @ 4 ohms mono since my sub is a dual 2 ohm. You guys still have any PCX480s and 2400s you want to get rid of cheap?

DEI website update was:Alpine molex connector
I'm sure I'll be able to find some. Getting them locally is the issue since there aren't any PPI dealers anywhere close to me. Worst case is I could go eBay, but it's not my first choice.
Paul Vina "John Durbin" wrote in message ... I would be surprised if there weren't some closeout opportunities out there somewhere - we sold off a decent sized chunk of these late last year. JD Paul Vina wrote: crap. guess it's time to do some digging. Paul Vina "John Durbin" wrote in message ... only the occasional B-stock piece... A-stock is all gone. JD Paul Vina wrote: Tell me about it. I may even do the PCXs like we had discussed. Mainly because the PCX2200 will put out the power I need @ 4 ohms mono since my sub is a dual 2 ohm. You guys still have any PCX480s and 2400s you want to get rid of cheap? Paul Vina "John Durbin" wrote in message ... true... but there are good opportunities here and there on the existing models as they are closed out. JD Paul Vina wrote: I was kinda hoping you guys would do all the connectors on one long side like JL or SoundStream do. I've always like that concept since you don't add any length to an already long amp. Maybe something to look into for next year. ;-) Paul Vina "John Durbin" wrote in message ... The speaker/RCA connections plus all the controls are on the round end, power & Q BASS jack are on the flat end. I kinda like 'e, but I want to play with them. What side are the connectors on? Sill using the power and speaker plugs? Paul Vina "John Durbin" wrote in message ... You have to see one in the flesh (or in the aluminum as the case may be), they are wicked...
