selenium rectifier spice model
I found what appears to be a functioning selenium rectifier, and took
I/V curves off it, and created a spice model to simulate it. It is marked "rca 940267 9 752652" and has 6 fins. Spice 3f4, circuitmaker * seleniumrectifer rca 940267 9 752652 6 fins ..SUBCKT Xseleniumrectifer P K Bp P K I=((4.528050442/1.25e3)*uramp(V(P,K)+(-5.920633274))^ 1.5)+(((0.4102562352/1.0e4)*uramp((V(P,K)-2.5)*10) ^1.5)/2) ..ends Xseleniumrectifer "Why?" you ask. Figured someone might want to simulate a circuit that used a selenium rectifier, and how to substitute a silicon diode and series resistor. Building a series string of 13 1N4004 diodes in series with a 44 ohm resistor comes close to the selenium rectifier above. But for most applications one diode and the resistor is enough. |
