Need answer about this NG
Sent 2 messages early yesterday and still no sign of them. They did have an
attachment. I've sent attachments before to RAT with no problem. Does this NG normally accept attachments? Thanks. west |

Not good practice anyway. We have always told ppl off in the past, and directed them to a binary group. Perhaps you haven't noticed. Perhaps Google or your ISP is tightening up. Ian |

Thanks. west Attachments are not allowed in this news group. All messages should be plain text and if you have pics or other attachments, they can be posted to alt.binaries.schematics.electronic, but then you need to notify us here youv'e done that because not all of us check out the daily drivel at abse. They should be gif, jpg, pdf, text documents that all ppl with W95 onwards will be able to open without needing all sorts of fancy programs. Alternatively, make up a list of those with whom you think are important to you, and post them the attatchment privately but then move on to discussions of it as usual in the r.a.t. forum here.
