The 6J5WGT look like 6SN7s with one side connected - is that true?

The last run of 6J5WGT Philips ECG made, indeed were 6SN7-GTB's
with only one section connected, wired as 6J5's. Sounds strange,
but I guess it used up the leftover parts they had, and they
do indeed work as 6J5WGT.

WHat's the difference between the 6J5 and 6J5WGT? I have a bunch of the
6J5's from the 30's and 40's in their original boxes. Don't know if they
are worth anything or not.

I'd say metal 6J5s are virtually worthless. 6J5GTs fetch small sums depending
on make ($5-10), but good 6J5Gs are highly collectable, particularly stuff like
CV1932 (name your price over $30).

indeed that is true
the phillips ECG tubes that I have are that way
the price that I am asking is only $5.00 each.
they are good tubes and I have been using them for several years when I
rebuild jukebox amplifiers for my customers.
