help connecting power to 2nd head unit
I'd just run it in parallel with the first head unit. I did this in my car
and it works fine. Double check and make sure the original circuit will handle the load (it should). Paul Vina "shaggyone" wrote in message news I was thinking of installing a DIN sized DVD player as an add-on to my aiwa cdc-mp3 head unit. I have a double din opening so it shouldn't be a problem. My questions is how do you provide power to the 2nd head unit? Can it run in series or parallet to the factory power? Or can I power it off a distribution block from the separate thick power cable that powers the sub amp? Is there any other power source that's suitable for a 2nd head unit? TIA! -Manny |
