Default Question on splitting tracks - CoolEdit 2000

Man. Never seen such UNHELPFUL help files.

Figured out how to set cue points in a long MP3 file. Now HOW do I tell it
to split them?

I call up the cue list, highlight them all, press BATCH, gives you a choice
to set time offsets or split tracks, I select the split function, or
whatever they call it, nothing happens.

Am I missing something?
