Shoot away, tweako.

Howard,
I know at your age it all gets a bit blurry but you really need to
quit painting everyone with the same brush.

As a group, audio buffs (I mean real buffs, and not the kind
of people who stop by Best Buy and pick up a serviceable AV
system, or not even big spenders who are ignorant of audio
but let some custom installer build them an overpriced
system) are for the most part just downright goofy. Not all
of them, mind you, but most.

I look forward to seeing this statement printed as a footnote
to every one of your future publicationsa and articles.
I'm sure it will impress your readers.

I think that by now many of my readers are well aware of my
position regarding the sanity audio buffs. Read my review of
the Son of Ampzilla amp in the current issue of The Sensible
Sound, particularly the first two paragraphs and the last
one. You would probably also want to read the paragraphs in
between. There is also a lengthy review of a Yamaha DVD
(SACD/DVD-A) player that will put the tweakos in their
place.

Just as astonishing is how con artists can be so successful
at pulling the wool over the eyes of otherwise rational
people.

You should know. You're "published" after all. LOL!

Yes I am, tweako.

Even more astonishing is how defensive of those con
artists some people can be.

You don't get it, as usual. Even the Big Stilton privately agreed that
you're clueless. You're just a convenient -and free- implement for him, a
manure spreader of sorts.

Cheers,

Margaret

I am sure that you con artists (including the Big Stilton)
are indeed very aware of just what you are doing. The only
way you and your kind can play with exotic toys is to play
the game and screw over the minds of small-minded readers
looking for an ineffable fix.

**No, it is not. But I am not surprised that you think it is. It fits with
your utter lack of technical credentials.

You do not need technical credentials to spot a con artist,
tweako.

Uh oh, Numb Nutz has launched an all out attack on the Big Stilton! This is
gonna be ugly...

They said that about Copernicus, too.
There still are some who believe he was wrong:

Good one, woodenhead. If somebody asked you whether to get high octane
gasoline, you'd say "get more gallons".

OK, lessee: "What longer wire for longer runs?"

Nope, doesn't make sense to me.

Here's a clue Sander. Consider what happens when a wire's
length is less than the distance between the two points
being connected.

I know! I know! When the length is less than the distance, the 'borg takes a
dump and then EATS IT ALL UP! Hahaha! What do I win?

Middius, your prize is a stereo that is made up with magical
cables that are always shorter than the distance between the
points being connected.

Now that's BORG POWER! ;-)

Now Middius, its your turn to do something anatomically
impossible like a nice little Normal.
