Factory Tweeters
Hello everybody.
I was looking over my car and decided to look at the factory tweeters and I realized that both of them weren't working. Before I rush out an buy new ones I was hoping that someone could help me locate the wiring diagram for my car. It is a '96 Honda Accord EX Sedan. All I need to know is the color of the wires that hook up to the speakers and the way they are wired to the HU. Much thanks in advance. |

They are wired parallel. They would use a capacitor (6db crossover filter)
in series on the positive lead so impedance is not an issue. Just do like wise with whatever you use, but use the right spec cap of course. Doing it like this however may make it difficult to match the tweeter output level to your midrange unless you know how to fabricate an attenuator, aka L pad. - RG "John Comma Smith" wrote in message news:wF7wg.7060$5K2.6449@fed1read03... ck wrote: Not sure what color but the tweeters are wiered to the front door spkrs That is kindof what I figured. By any chance do you have more detailed info on what size capacitor I need and such? Thank you very much. |
