Marantz 2230 Receiver, serviced with warranty, $149

Enjoy classic Marantz quality from the past. This silver faced analog AM/FM
receiver is rated conservatively at 30 watts (tech measured 44) per channel.
Features "Gyro-touch" tuning, bass, midrange and treble tone controls, front
panel tape dubbing, low and high filters. Has preamp-out and poweramp-in jacks.


All dial lamps have been replaced! Recently cleaned switches and pots with
DeOxit. This receiver has been serviced (bad power switch replaced and tuner
aligned) and cleaned inside and out. I'll include the techs. invoice as proof
of this recent service and specs. I will give the new owner a 15 day warranty
on this piece (repair or refund - buyer pays return shipping). Nice cosmetics
(some function lettering worn away) and fully functional.

This early 1970s receiver shows the heavy quality that set Marantz apart. For
example, I have yet to see another 30 watt receiver that contains the massive
individual left and right channel heat sinks found in this model. Great for
that second system in the extra bedroom, workshop or den. This is the eighth
2230 I have had the opportunity to sell - they are great little receivers built
to last. The 2230 listed for $400 from 1971-73, I can offer for $149 plus
