Hi;

Just wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between the RME
Hammerfall and Hamerfall II? I downloaded both manuals and can't see any
drastic differences. Are the converters the same (my main concern).

I assume you mean the Multiface I vs Multiface II...

From the product page:

Significant changes were provided to the internal core. The Multiface II
integrates the more advanced featurs of Fireface- and OctaMic series:
a.. 1 x Hi-Power analog line/headphone out with volume (119 dB(A) SNR)
b.. analog input stage with advanced CMRR, lower THD and SNR increased by
10 dB
c.. analog outputs with lower THD
d.. synchronised and more efficient power supply
e.. reference level of the analog I/Os is changeable on the front with two
different switches. No internal jumpers.
