Default Car radio installation help

I've recently bought a Citroen AX (1.0 petrol - 1993) and think the
radio has been wired up incorrectly - the radio goes off when the
headlights are turned on!

The radio manual is here (page 27):
http://kenwood.nl.nt.ims.hr/languages/EN/support/manuals/KRC-479R~379R%20(EN).pdf

The speakers are all connected up fine, but I'm not too sure what to
connect the battery (yellow) and ignition (red) to. There are three
wires available, a grey, a grey with red markings at the end, and a
white.

The two grey's are attached to another connector - the same size as
connector A on page 29 of the manual - but is not actually connected to
the radio.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks,
Phil
