Default Dubbing service wanted in Kingston Ontario

I've been contacted by someone who lives near Kingston Ontario, asking
if there is a studio in the area which can dub a direct-recorded
aluminium 78. She has enquired at a local recording studio, but they
can't do it.

Does anyone know of a suitable copying service in that area?

Closest place I know would be Graham Newton in Dawn Mills,
http://audio-restoration.com.

You should all be warned that if it is a pregrooved record made on
a machine that crimps the top of the groove, it requires a very weird
stylus, and if the studio doesn't have one they might have to bill
the customer for it. It's not something anybody uses very often.

Thanks.

Luckily it isn't. It is a "Voice" record which was recorded in England
by a machine with either a leadscrew or a scroll plate under the
turntable.
