Yamaha CDR HD1000 loader
I have a Yamaha CDR HD1000 on the bench. The loader is screwed. Yamaha no
longer support this model with spare parts. My client is left with several options: 1) Buy a new model (HD1500) 2) Find a third party laser mech which fits. Anyone have any luck fitting a computer burner to this model? It appears to be a more or less standard IDE computer CDR burner. -- Trevor Wilson www.rageaudio.com.au |

Are there any other manufacturers numbers anywhere on the mech or laser? They could be off the shelf parts by Sanyo, Sony etc. I've had good luck in the past this way. Gareth. |
