Default D&R series 4000 or soundcraft 6000 ?

hello,
I've already read most of the posting to both of the mentioned boards.
they both seem to be of good quality and sound.
I'am working with harddiscrecording, synths, drummaschines, and I have
right now an allen&heath gs3 16/8/2. I'm looking for a 24/8/2 console,
with little better eq. I found the d&R board and the soundcraft both
for a good deal. I'll be happy to get some suggestions about what
would be the better choice. the soundcraft 6000 is a 24/16/2, which is
really cool for a homestudio, cause it's still very compact, also it's
in good maintainance. I couldn't find out whether the d&R series 4000
is a 4buss or the mkII version with 8 busses. it's even a little
cheaper, and seems to be in good shape.
thanx for some advices.
