That's because you know what you are doing when it comes to live
sound and don't need to waste other people's money on useless
technology to try to fool them in to thinking you know what you are
talking about.
Maybe, but the op did ask for advice on getting a better
piano sound.
IF you're operating with a grand piano onstage there's no
reason you can't get quite a bit of sound out if it even if
not piano on full stick. Turn down, point speakers at ears
and you'll have more options when it comes to getting an
acceptable piano sound.

tHat knowing what I"m doing part comes from over three
decades in the trenches doing this stuff.
