When replacing tubes (6CG7) ?
Ronald . "Peter Roek" schreef in bericht om... 12 years old Luxman equipment with tubes 6CG7 still playing fine. But I was told that tubes get worse when they get older. Should I replace them? Maybe the quality of sound reduced, and I didn't notice, because I got use to it? Regards Peter Roek ) |

Tubes operate well and not vary much over most of their life, and then start to wimp out at the end. Somewhat similar to the way a florescent light bulb acts. |
