I had a pesky intermittent problem with my Revox A700. After two round
trips to Nashville, the problem re-appeared. Third time, they sent me

still working.

Well, with MADI, you could use a DAW (Nuendo would probably be the
best bet) with RME's MADI I/I card. The only other stand-alone hard
disk recorder I can think of that offers MADI I/O is the Euphonix R1.
I suspect that considering where you are, local support wouldn't be
any better than with iZ. Or there's the Sony 3348, but not seriously.

Tough call. Your best bet may be to go with the sheep.

Not sure if it is a current or "planned" feature, but MADI is supposed
to be available to Genex GX9000 / GX9048 users.
