Default 1991 Mustang: install amp under rear seat

Hey.

Has anyone ever attempted installing an amp under the rear seat of a
1991 Mustang? I'm looking for a spot out of the hatch area to move mine
to.

Thanks,
Stoney

hard top or conv, ive had both, and "under" the rear seat wouldnt be a
good idea, if the amp even ran warm the heat would build up and
eventually either catch something on fire or just damage the amp. Ive
seen people bolt them to the back of the fold down rear seats in the
hatch backs, and ive seen people hide them in the top pump area in
convertibles.

Yeah, I kinda figured it wouldn't be a good idea. Just wanted to bounce
it off people to see if they had success.

Thanks,
R
