Could use some recommendations
This is probably futile, but I am going to ask anyway. I have $5000 to
spend on a stereo system. It is for my 20 x 40 living room/combo room. I'd like two tower speakers, a subwoofer, an amp, with lots of ins and outs, a reciever and a CD player. I don't care if I have an all in one amp or pre amp and seperate . This is also my music room, but I've about given up ever using any of this for microphone, acoustic guitar amp or recording purposes. I do play the guitar and the CD player and want a remote on the CD player so I can play the same track over and over while I learn the song on the guitar. Anyway, I went to Sound Track, and a couple of boutique sound shops. I don't want anything fancy. Just good 100 watts per channel or so, I do play loud as I listen from another room so the whole room acts a speaker. I don't have room for megneplanar speakers. I think I want "generic", like the basic stuff, no wierdo stuff or obscure manufacturers that will be going out of business shortly. Thx |
